Committees
To carry out all of the projects that our club is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

ANNUAL CLUB DINNER DANCE Orlando, James
Our club's premier social event of the year, at which grants and donations are made to many individuals with exceptional needs as well as those charitable groups and organizations who provide immediate relief and medical resources to those children and families within and beyond the community who require genuine assistance. Additionally, this event provides the venue where members of our club are recognized for their dedicated service to both our club
ANNUAL CLUB DINNER DANCE 50/50 RAFFLE Procure the approved number of raffle tickets, distribute same on a pro-rata basis to each member of the club, collect all funds and ticket stubs, and attempt to ensure that all tickets are sold prior to the physical drawing of the winners which will share in the the three (3) cash prizes totaling $15,000 conducted at the club's Annual Dinner Dance.
ANNUAL GOLF OUTING FUND RAISER Organize and execute the Annual Golf Outing, This is the club's singularly most important fund raising event of the year. Success depends upon the participation of every member of the club. Corporate sponsors, "Hole Sponsors", practice Green and Range sponsors are critical elements that each club member should try to secure.

BOARD of DIRECTORS Mure, Joe
Responsible for determining the policies and activities of the club; election and disciplining of members; approval, management and execution of the annual budget to include approval of the list of grant and/or donation recipients announced at the club's Annual Dinner Dance; approval of all bills; taking counsel with all committees; and having general management of the club.
BROOKLYN DIVISION COUNCIL MEETINGS Attendance at and support of the Brooklyn Division Lt Governor's meetings. All Members are Required to Attend One Meeting of the four they have Per Year
BUILDERS CLUBS Intermediate School Kiwanis Clubs sponsored and advised by our adult club as a portion of our club's Sponsored Youth and Sponsored Youth Leadership programs.
BYLAWS, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES Review and/or Develop Amendments to Club Bylaws, Club Policies, and Procedures and Report to Board of Directors for initial approval. In the case of ByLaws, conduct a general membership vote to adopt. In the case of Policies and Procedures, Board approval is final.
CARNEVALE The committee coordinates, organizes and executes a social dinner for the club's members, their spouses and significant others. The location, date, time, menu, and costs are approved by the Board of Directors.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY The annual party for all of the children who are related to all of the members of our club, and the related children of other invited attendees.
CLUB NEWSLETTER Develop and distribute the club's weekly newsletter wherein the announcements and business conducted at the regular weekly meetings are transmitted to all members

Founding Membership Appreciation and Recognition To host a Event to celebrate our founding Member and still active Carl.
GOLF OUTING "SUPER RAFFLE" FUND RAISER Organize and execute the Annual "Super Raffle" and Regular Prize raffle for as many as two dozen quality electronic and professional golf equipment prizes.
GRANTS AND DONATIONS Provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding any requests for funds in excess of $500. Develop the recommended list of charitable organizations and/or individual(s) with needs who will receive grants from the club at its Annual Dinner Dance and present said list to the Board of Directors for approval.
HOUSE AND RECEPTION Collection of funds for the payment of meals at meetings and selected events.
INTERCLUB MEETINGS Joint Meetings with other Kiwanis Clubs
JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION Coordinate with Foundation; Organize and Coordinate for Little North Pole
KAMP KIWANIS Support of the premier camp for almost 1,000 underprivileged children from throughout the state.
KEY AND CIRCLE-K CLUBS Kiwanis Clubs at the High School (Key Clubs) and College (Circle-K Clubs) levels that are sponsored and advised by our adult club.
KIWANIS AWARDS Recommendations for Annual Club Awards (Zeller, Hixon, Diamond Kaiser, Kaiser, KPTC, Brittany, etc.) to the Board of Directors for those club members who will be recognized for their service to the club and the community.
MEMBER ATTENDANCE AND PARTICPATION Reveiw of each member's levels of attendance at meetings and particpation in club activities/events.
MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AND EDUCATION Interview prospective candidates for club membership and report findings to Board of Directors. Said committee shall be composed of the Past Presidents of this club and Chaired by the Prior Year Immediate Past President
NOMINATIONS Headed By The IPP, Develop a ballot/slate of nominees for club Officers and Directors (seven (7) each year), except Secretary, Asst Secretary, Recording Secretary, and Asst Treasurer. Present ballot/slate of nominees to the Board of Directors no later than the last week in April.
PROGRAMS AND SPEAKERS Coordinate for club meeting programs and guest speakers on matters of interest to the club's members.
PUBLIC RELATIONS Club Promotion
RONALD McDONALD HOUSE MEALS A "long term" service project done once every three months at the Ronald McDonald House in Manhattan. The club provides a multi-course meal for the cancer stricken children and their families who are residents at the time. The intent is to relieve the parents of the burden of having to provide a meal for their children and themselves after having spent the entire day at one of the local hospitals where the child suffering from cancer

SUNSHINE REPORT Health,Welfare, and Morale of Members Reports
Travel MEETINGS Coordinate and organize meetings at various venues.
